Just wrapped up a solid editing session. Prints in the mail to clients, edits coming out at a medium pace, and fabulous photos one my computer from amazing people like Ashleigh here with her freshly finished love-birds tattoo. To Sacramento she’s moved with a hottie boy and wonderful job waiting for her at home; she is missed already.

Natalie + Farrell Gerbote wedding at the Plant in Kyle was a beautiful spring day full of vibrant color, wildflowers, rustic beauty and a juxtaposing venue design by Lake Flato Design from San Antonio. Congrats to this awesome couple!

Most of my fans, followers(?), and friends have been talking about how I have been a little absent from my usual avenues of putting images that speak to me online. I blame one third on Pinterest as I am spending more time looking at OTHER people’s awesome ideas than I have been sharing. Sorry about that my peoples. Here’s a little something from one of the various projects coming along these days. And I also apologize to the other photographers who have been looking for something new to copy; I will keep putting my work up for you to feed from so long as you keep commenting on my work that you like so much. We had been meaning to shoot at the Swan Dive once again for a more… publishable shoot for some time now. Shortly after the release of Austin Monthly’s great spread by Andrew Chan at that venue, we decided to push it back and rethink lighting just a bit. I decided to go with a much higher key composition than I first thought so that these would stand out. With me is the beautiful and talented Anna Alvarez who is at the Salon at the Domain (book. her. now.) for hairstyle and a new collaboration with Allison Schingle on make-up artistry (also styling at the Salon at the Domain, so bring a group!), and a new talent, Mayra Veronica Gonzalez (MM# 2329198). Dig these now and look forward to more work with this team in the Spring!
